Spanish Trail Country Club is an exclusive haven of timeless elegance, nestled in a 640-acre enclave of spectacular homes, lush landscaping, and welcoming camaraderie. Private gates swing open, beckoning you into a world of luxury and privilege, where the pleasures of membership are many.

Founded in 1984 by the Blasco family, Spanish Trail Country Club was one of the newest clubs to be built in Las Vegas in 19 years and now one of the top private clubs in town. The Blasco family purchased the land in 1953 and waited three decades to put the plan in motion. As avid golfers, they always planned to build an affluent resort community centered around golf on the site. The family decided on the name “Spanish Trail” because reports indicated the historic Old Spanish Trail, linking the Santa Fe area with Los Angeles in the mid-1800s, cut across the property.

The legendary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. personally designed an extraordinary 27-hole championship golf course – the emerald-green centerpiece of the Club. Tree-lined fairways, undulating hills, 15 lakes with streams and waterfalls, 120 bunkers, and sweeping mountain vistas create a golf experience like no other.  The distinctive 27-hole layout features three nine-hole courses – the Canyon Course, the Lakes Course and the Sunrise Course.  Each of the three nines is configured to create three distinct 18-hole courses.  These courses are rotated regularly, providing a variety of play for the frequent golfer.  This unique rotation, along with a limited number of golf members, assures easy access to the course at all times.

As a previous host course for the PGA Tour’s Las Vegas Invitational, Spanish Trail Country Club has welcomed notable players and members such as Curtis Strange, Paul Azinger, Greg Norman, Greg Maddux, Andre Agassi, Bob Newhart, Don Rickles, Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods, George H. Bush, Mac Davis, as well as many other athletes and celebrities.

The Club’s original Golf Pro, Jerry Roberts, is one of the most respected PGA pros in Las Vegas and a member of the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame.  Roberts’ capacity at the club ended in 2003. Now retired, he enjoys the full benefits of his membership.

In 2007, Spanish Trail began an exciting $15 million renovation that included a completely renovated clubhouse and course improvements.  Famed local interior designer Herb Press led the re-design of the clubhouse facilities. Under his direction, members enjoyed updated member areas, bars and lounges and a complete makeover of the casual and formal dining rooms and banquet rooms.  The final project included a brand new dining room and wine lockers for members’ private use. The course alterations compliment the infrastructure of the course, and remain in keeping with the original Jones’ Design.

The now remodeled 50,000 square foot clubhouse recalls the style of its namesake, “The Old Spanish Trail”, in a sophisticated grandeur that says “home”, offering members and their guests consummate country club amenities and singular ambiance. The luxurious clubhouse provides members with the perfect setting for casual and fine dining, a relaxing drink with friends, or special events and parties. The comfort and convenience make the clubhouse a second home, but the attention to details makes the unique difference that can only be found at Spanish Trail.

Spanish Trail Country Club has always boasted a wealth of member privileges including; enjoyment of twelve tennis courts, and refreshing swimming facilities at the Tennis Centers and Swim Pavilions, and a state of the art Fitness Center.  Renown in Las Vegas for its teaching and tennis program, members can take pride in having the most complete recreational program.
